'Sexy One' is an original oil painting on a 48x24 inch archival-quality natural cotton, gesso primed, gallery style canvas. Only professional grade, quality acrylic and oil paints are used. This piece is in honor of of beautiful women everywhere...especially my wife! $2250 OBO.
This is certainly a BOLD piece of art...in size, color and subject. I started with a few thin layers of oil paint, sort of as a glaze, and began layering
thick layers of oil and acrylic paints impasto style to create texture and interest. Finally, I began blending the lines for sexy suggestiveness, for obvious reasons. The vibrant colors speak to me, and hopefully you, and certainly cause the figure to really pop with excitement and dreamy delights. This particular piece evolved, several times, over a period of 2 months with short inspirations of painting followed by longer creative periods of contemplation.
I do my best to accurately depict the beauty and color of my pieces in my photographs. Staged room photos may not represent the exact size of the painting but a close example.
