The Mission is an original oil painting on a 24x30 inch archival-quality natural cotton, gesso primed, gallery style canvas. Only professional grade, quality oil paints are used. If you are ever in the Tucson, Arizona area, put this on your "must see" list. This is a small chapel off to the edge of the larger San Xavier historic mission. The mission was originally founded in 1692 and went through such a rich history over the centuries. It still functions as a mission. This was such a wonderful experience to paint with soft brush strokes with suggestive palette knife texture. One of my favorites!
I do my best to accurately depict the beauty and color of my pieces in my photographs. Staged room photos may not represent the exact size of the painting but a close example.
